Sometimes I need to get out of the house to get any work done. I have a flexible job that allows me to work where I want on occasion, so I sometimes find myself at this Starbucks location.
Normally I'm content to grab a Grande Pike and nurse that for the afternoon, but today I came a bit early. I was in the mood for a quick hit of breakfast-y goodness. Thus began a journey that my tastebuds will remember forever.
I decided to splurge a little and get the Double Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Sandwich. To my delight and surprise, I was whisked away to flavour country, wishing never to return.
The bun was light, flaky and buttery like a croissant, but held together with the structural integrity of an english muff. The bacon was thick, but struck the perfect balance between crispy and chewy. The egg and cheese were nothing spectacular, but fulfilled their roles with a quiet confidence. My only regret is that it was over too soon. -

This is my favourite coffee place to go in Guelph to get work done while enjoying a nice beverage. The staff is super nice and there is one big table that is great if you want to post up and get work done. The little tables work too.

This is my favourite Starbucks location in Guelph. I used to get non-fat caramel macchiatos there almost every single day, and the quality was literally always consistent. The staff are all so nice, they remembered my boyfriends' and my name when we went in, and even asked me where he was when I went in solo. Love. It. Here.

Used to be fast and efficient but now they have this new system where one person makes the lattes and the rest just stand around. Drive through gets backed up and the window person has to apologize to everyone because even though they have another machine at the drive through window she can't make your order for you.
If you need to your order quickly better order ahead.
